Reglued my sagging sunroof slider headliner. I wonder if putting a nice quality tint on the sunroof would help reduce heat coming in.

Also, noticing a handful of E90s for sale on Facebook and other sites lately with E92 exhausts installed; they’re prob trying to get back to stock for the sales but just lazy IMO. Looks silly too.

Got my E93 about a month ago. So far I'm just doing maintenance.

Today I changed the convertible top fluid. "Lifetime" my ass. I also discovered a broken tension rope on the rear passenger flap so I will have to replace that and inspect the rest of the top.



Tomorrow I drop my car off for BE rod bearing service.

Lol you might be the first person in the history of the e93 to service the hydraulic fluid for the convertible top. I predict great things for your car with that level of attention to detail. Well done!👍

There’s a good maintenance or diy thread on annual maintenance routines for the convertible top (lubrication options for the hinges and moisturizers for the seals).

Picked up a garage mate for the e92. The two cars compliment each other wonderfully in terms of driving experiences provided

Replaced the engine mounts! Slowly bringing this workout E92 up to standards and eagerly working towards track status!

Thank you! I Havent driven it much since I’m still learning how to drive manual with it but I will say it’s a great car and if you like an analog experience (as we do being on this forum), this is one of the few modern cars that delivers it. Has a hydraulic rack like the e9x and it doesn’t filter much from you feedback wise compared to modern cars while still being complaint on the street. It’s a great complimentary driving experience to the e92

Only other cars I considered were R8 and Carrera T both of which were too numb/had too much feedback filtering for me.

A very heavy and cool box showed up on my front porch from Valvetronic Designs. Getting it installed along with rod bearings and motor mounts next week.

New rear window seal. Original one was embarrassing.

I need to do this too, new front and rear seals in the garage now. Any install tips?

1st tip is to lay out the new rubber on the driveway in the sun. Packaging for shipping kinda makes’em all janky. 2nd tip is to start in the upper corners and do both sides working down. 3rd tip is to work the top in from outside in. This will guarantee perfect alignment. When I did my front a few years back, I did not use tips 2 & 3 and it was off a few mm but enough to drive me insane to the point I did it again a few months later.

“Chasing Gears”

Well m, this wasn’t done in a day but over this weekend.

The Titan7 needed a deep cleaning and prep before ceramic coating. Not bad for wheels that are 4 years old. Figured I’d do it before new tires get installed.

Also took the time to clean fender liners and clean/prep/ceramic coat calipers.

All in all, I’m very pleased and slowly getting the car where I want it.

I will have to drive over and checkout these roads in the M3. Over the years I have been through there, but never for the driving experience.
Your M3 looks amazing. As you know, those are my favorite wheels. And there just something special about a blue BMW.

Thanks Steve! Le Mans Blue really “pops” in the sun. People sleep on the 219m wheels. I’ve got conservative spacers on mine with +1 upsized tires. Love ‘em!
