Ok, so will be 57 next month. Fell in love with BMW's almost 30 years ago with my first little E21, and have owned nothing else since. Have had at least 1 3 series from every model other than the G's. On my 5th M-car. Out of all 15 Bimmers I have owned, my E36 M3 was and is still my favorite driver and if it had any damn power would be the best they ever made IMHO. The chassis was just so good. Not taking anything away from my E92, the sound and the feel of the V8 makes it the best powerplant without doubt, but the chassis is not in the same league. Now if you could drop the V8 in the E36, well....
