BAHRAIN SUPERCAR CLUB, First meet :)

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I would like to introduce to you all a new car enthusiasts club in Bahrain.... THE BAHRAIN SUPER CAR CLUB.

Our first meet was on 28 April and it wa a wonderful gathering, a small one but that's cos everyone was busy with F1, GP2 and local races. The meet started off in a private residence and then we went for a nice long drive to Amwaj Islands and chilled in an awesome Coffee shop. Here are the pics....

There will be another meet in two weeks and hopefully we'll have some new/old faces and lot of customers and enthusiasts cars

Just kidding man! Gorgeous residential garage! I wonder what the house looks like :bulge:

I'm sure you gas prices are very reasonable, so no point in priuses.

So the moral of the story is, everytime I pay $67 for a tank of gas, I make a Ferrari payment for a Bahrainian?

Bahrain's not an oil rich country by the way. You are the lucky ones, at least you have good 93 octane at pump. We have shitty 91 at pump but it costs US$15.70 for 60 liters.

you're correct, and I was misinformed. there is comparatively little oil wealth in Bahrain. I shall correct my statement and say that everytime I pump up, I'm helping some dude in UAE make a Ferrari payment.

I reconginze that Bahrain has a very open trade policy which allows banking and heavy industries to flourish in the country. A model that a lot of other middle eastern economies can follow. :cool!:

I admire that model. If we continue to have policies that discourage business in the US, we will shortly be wondering what happened to our jobs.
