Hello,

Longtime member, first in the M3 forums, then X3. I have purchased a new M2 but I go to the M2 forum it shows ma as logged out and it won't let me log in. Is this operator error on my part? I've even tried to register for the M2 forum but since my email address is already tied to my X3 forum log in, I am not allowed to register.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Did you change your password on the x3 forum? If so it might not have synced up backwards to legacy forums (m2). If you change your password (forgot password) on the m2 forum it should then sync the new one up to x3. It’s a one way street in that regard. I’ll probably work on making it into a two way street if that fix doesn’t work for you

Hi Ken , long time no see ...

I'm still as always at the M3 forums and just logged in at the M2 forum.
Didn't got issues to log in at the M2 forum.
I think apptest's user avatarapptest can (hopefully) fix your issue.
Just wait for a PM from him...
Hey, great to hear from you! I'm not sure what the issues but I'm sure we'll get it sorted. For now I'll just read what I can

Hope all is well on your end!
So I went to the M3 forum which I had not visited in a while and it made me log in but it took the old password I was using back then but with my current screen name. Then I went to the M2 forum and it kept me logged in.

So basically the I logged into the X3 forum using kscarrol one password and then logged into the M3 forum using kscarrol and a different password. Not sure how that works.

If you change it on either M3 forum or M2 forum it will sync back up with the X3 forum

Ahh, I’ll give that a try.

Thank you.
Hi, I've also had this issue in the past, quite a bit. I've owned multiple G42 series, but currently the G87. At times I swing over to the G80/82 forum to check their classifieds section since the cars are similar, but I was never able to post, as I appear as Logged Out, and the password I usually use doesnt work.

I think I may have fixed this, and I think the fix was mentioned above, log into the M3 forum with the old password, and then it seems to "update" itself to now be in sync with the new password used in the M2 section.
