Maximizing the equipment at your disposal is racing.
Battery power gives another level of tools for drivers to maximize. If they have the mental capacity to do so.
Isn't it interesting that none of Verstappen fans were complaining about electric "overtake mode" ERS/MGU-K boost in previous generation cars ... when VER was winning ... with all that "artificial" battery power and DRS.
Now that VER is mired in mid-field and complaining, they suddenly have issues with it?

Mine broke off because I didn’t latch the quick release properly. I noticed it was hanging just slightly off to one side, but then I took a corner a little too aggressively and dropped into the dirt where there’s a huge hole. Pretty sure it caught a hard edge and ripped it off.
That corner exits into a 95-100 mph right-hand sweeper too, so it was definitely a code brown moment once I realized what happened.
I’ve also seen rear wings get blown off on long straights. Still amazes me that car did immediately spin after that.
