Anyone have any recommendations on a good air freshener that is long lasting, has good scents and will make the x5 continually smell good and not just every now and then you can smell it?

I have used the Bath @ Body Works air fresheners but they aren't as strong in releasing the smell as years past..not sure why.

Thanks!
I've been using "Wonder Wafers" for a little while. You can get multi-packs very cheap, and they have a ton of different scents.

I like their New Leather - open the package but leave the wafer in it & place under the seat.
I see Obsessed Garage has gotten into the freshener market but at $35 a bag I'm going to pass.

Does it smell cheap? I am looking for it to be strong but not overly strong.

Pretty strong smell? I like a new car smell. Neutral smell that you can tell is there but not make you dizzy after 5mins.

Yeah, pretty damn pricey!
I'm a fan of California Scents, those little tin cans. Cherry is my favorite.
JDM squash (different brands out there), hands down best scent!

I'm not either but I like a little scent in the cabin!

This is what I currently have in the X5. I have put two in place. I remember about 2-3 years ago, if I put one in, it would make the whole cabin smell very good and strong! Now, I can barely smell with two new pods in place.

the only thing I know is most get use to the smell very quickly and think the smell is gone so they up the smell and then someone gets in who isn't use to it and is knocked out haha

Ha, that could be true with mine but I don't even smell it when I get in my X5 after a few days. I would think the smell would be there after not being disturbed after a few days.

All our home versions of Febreze are in a spray bottle, not aerosol.
Come on guys. We're driving performance cars , not an SUV with kids and pets inside going nuts. Crazy post.

Says the owner of a Q3 SUV! ;)
BMW is probably selling/leasing more SAVs than cars these days, filled with smelly kids & pets.
John, you weren't supposed to notice that.
Previous must have vaped or used a strong fraguence or something so I had the interior fully detailed / ozened and all vents steam cleaned. Now it's smelling way better and I like to keep it that way. I don't put any pets in my x5. Who doesn't like a good smelling car/suv?
I subscribe to changing the cabin filter regularly. Our dog travels with us but secured inhis dog seat, no contact with the inside of the car. The leather cleaner usually leaves a new leather smell. There’s no eating in the car and we don’t smoke. All’s good.

I didn’t know they had a spray! I used to use this brand called air spencer, quite strong so I didn’t fully open the plastic wrap. It also has an adjustable vent. They sell some container for it, looks silver, you don’t need that unless you want it for aesthetics haha some people attach it to their dash. I used to just purchase the refills, lasted fairly long. But yeah nowadays I try to keep a clean interior and just the natural smell of the car and residual smell of onr (what I use to clean the interior).
