"Post Milestone" reputation points?

Just received this notification that I reached a post milestone, and was awarded one reputation point. Wish that I knew what the milestone was, or how I can cash on those reputation points for genuine BMW accessories or swag.....

Based on views (although I might change that algo in the future). and once this wild adventure into the new forum format is finished, I might come up with some way to cash them in (seriously haha, but not actual cash of course)

I have asked this before, response was crickets…

As far as the military rankings go, what are the counts needed for each “promotion”?

Where can I see this info?

Of course it is. If you are sensitive about "fake" military ranking (some resented/complained around here) you can remove it from your account and call yourself according to your personal "counts". See the UserCP, perhaps.

I’m just curious what the ”promotion” levels are…this shouldn’t be restricted information for Pete’s sake.

I also have a new reputation system brewing on the beta sites, and my new system is going and doing some retroactive point awards for threads so you might be getting 2x the rewards It will all get unified and cleaned up under one roof over the next week. If you are curious since you have alot of reputation around here, if you goto the new/beta sites, and you click your name at the top right you can see how the new reputation points system might play out for you

I just checked the M3 beta site, and like how it explains the reason and number of points when the system awards bonus points:



I like my new rank in the beta forum, even if it means that I'll have to make good on my campaign promise now. Oh, and I'm looking at just a hair under 3x points on the new system!



A possible bug/feature problem on the beta site is the red alarm bell with "7" on the top. When I click on it, there are no waiting alerts to be displayed.....

Oh, I've been on the record for decades saying that if I were ever elected Supreme Allied Commander of the Universe (TM), that my second action (after eliminating speed limits) would be to change all of the suggested speed signs on highway off-ramps to electronic displays. "Suggested speed is 35 MPH...but the record is 79 MPH by license plate CNH-320!"

Wow ok that’s alot. I’m still tuning the point system and brackets so it’s still a preview. Congrats on the new role, with great power comes great responsibility
