Removing salt residue inside headlights

I drove my E92 during rain on streets that still had a lot of salt from a recent snowstorm. My passenger headlight seems to have taken in water moisture that when dried left what I take to be salt deposits. Any way to get this off without having to prep my oven ?

I went ahead and opened the headlight with the oven method - intimidating procedure at first glance but actually super easy in practice - butyl separated cleanly like butter - stuck it in at 215 degrees for 15 minutes exactly. I cannot remove the deposits for my life, including through use of polish, seems to be deeply etched. Went ahead and ordered a pair of new headlight lens from BavGruppe Designs in NY - seems to be one of the few places that still have these available. I’ll post a few photos of the install and second bake for those who might be interested. Cheers.

So, for those looking to replace their headlight lenses, just wanted to note that the BavGruppe lenses are absolutely perfect - exact OEM specs. Installing the butyl and rebaking was a complete piece of cake. My advice would be 1) to clear the channels on the headlight housing as best you can, even though this is time consuming, and to bake the lens twice - once to properly press in the assembly together and snap in the clips, and a second to allow the butyl to expand and flow and create a good seal. I left everything in except the aftermarket LED and turn signal bulb, and everything is working perfectly. I forgot to reconnect the positioning light, but frankly could care less. Super easy DIY overall.
