513m wheels - reimagined in 19" - BSPK Forged ZOE

Having seen the work being done by John @ BSPK to bring to life OEM+ wheel options for the G8x platform, I approached him with the idea of doing a 513m recreation for my G21.

513m wheels have always been a favourite of mine, having had a set on my last F31 - but 18" fitment was never great for BBK clearance and the obvious PCD differences ruled them out for newer G series cars.

John has been great to work with, and after three revisions this is what we have managed to create.

These are a faithful recreation of the F8x 513m wheel; certainly not a 1:1 replica, but I feel that those who know, will know.

I am posting these here, as I know 513m wheels are a fan favourite and others may wish to follow suit with something similar since John at BSPK will be adding these to his permanent line up I believe.

I am jealous of your Rays G025 LTD wheels on your Touring. I tried so hard to find g025LC wheels for my e93 335i but couldn't source any. I had to settle for BC Forged wheels.

Do you mind sharing how you got them?

I am in the UK, so I had to import them in from Japan - I used a UK company called Tegiwa to bring them in for me.

They are a great set of wheels, but I feel that the colour of my car (Fire Orange) really needs an all black wheel.

I did find a few people how could get me a set of something, but they were 10-12 months out and I really wanted the blue they had put on some and they weren't doing that anymore.

I have actually seen a few Fire Orange cars with silver wheels, and I am always surprised by how good they look. Particularly silver Style 359. While in my mind I would think black is the only option.

Though with your car in particular black wheels would match best. Did you consider powder coating the Rays first?

Understandably going through the process of get something custom made is fun and something to be cherished. Having a G21 with a set of 513m is one of one right now!
