Pauly Wauly wroteI would have just shut up and enjoyed the ride, I mean you can talk anytime of the day instead of fully submerging into the experience..I wish Chris Harris didn`t talk so much during the laps because he kept breaking Max concentration.
DrFerry wrotei watched the Ring video. this thing doesn't like corners.Chris Harris said, "what is effectively a tank", and "it's big" and "to control the mass" - all the while their seats were bending and moving around at the shoulders. What was Chris trying to say? This could've been done with a Ford GT - but it wasn't. Now that the EU/USA trade deal has been done, regular Mustangs and Corvettes will begin showing up in the EU at much lower prices... This video is Ford's 'calling card' for EU consumers, but Max sure was hustling the GTD - and he was taking no prisoners.
G30M wrote4,343 lbs (1970.02 kilograms)i watched the Ring video. this thing doesn't like corners.
///M Power-Belgium wroteNow add the weight of the driver -> ~4500lbs...4,343 lbs (1970.02 kilograms)
DrFerry wroteYeah . That's a lot of weight . And the GTD has CF body panels ..Now add the weight of a tank of gas and the driver -> ~4500lbs...
///M Power-Belgium wroteSo where is all of that weight? In the roll-cage? In the engine block? In the gearbox? In the rear sub-frame? Or all of the above.Yeah . That's a lot of weight . And the GTD has CF body panels ..
wizardofOz wroteIf he had any sense he would wear an incontinence padYep Ford is picking up the mess
Pauly Wauly wroteagreed.I wish Chris Harris didn`t talk so much during the laps because he kept breaking Max concentration.
G30M wroteAs a boy , MAX was always very shy . You could always see him somewhere in the background .agreed.
however i didn't realise Max can talk so much. about corners and cars mainly. but ask him about the F1 movie and he has nothing to say - and neither have I (coz i haven't even thought about watching it).
///M Power-Belgium wroteI think he talks very well about things that interest him and you can even see how passionate he gets. I kind of like that. I have the same affliction unless I’ve had a couple of drinks, then I don’t shut up.As a boy , MAX was always very shy . You could always see him somewhere in the background .
In the beginning at Red Bull they had to push him to speak more ..
MAX spoke more via his onboard radio in the car than in front of the cameras.
But in the last 5 years that improved a lot ...
c1pher wrotethe GT500 comes with a DCT, or the Dark Horse S650 in 6MT (the latter being my preference of a daily)I wish Ford would make a 5.0 Everyman version of this.

c1pher wrotesorry i'm not understanding .. the GTD is not a mid engine either?I mean as a mid engine.
M5Rick wroteChris Harris about MAXMy friend I literarily can't watch the LEW situation anymore as I can feel my stomach tubes twisting every time the next round comes around. That said I think LEW is going to make Ferrari listen to him eventually the more he drills them at least to screw the car to his liking more, I really don't see that big a problem here. Ricky the engineer does his best to feed the race info that seems to clash with the way LEW listens to it.

///M Power-Belgium wroteHe is not wrong, it is mainly the media bias that is negative towards Max
///M Power-Belgium wroteHe's a good bloke our Chris
