I downloaded EVO today and it seems pretty nice, although there is only one
car and no multiplayer yet. I understand more features will be added in the
future.

The graphics are great, although big portions of my screen turned red when
passing the finish line for the 1st time. Installing the latest AMD video driver
seems to have solved that problem.

My computer has an AMD Ryzen 9 12-core 5900 CPU and an RX 7900 XTX
video card, 64 GB of RAM. Now I’m considering buying a sim rig to hold my
Thrustmaster TMX.
Just remember.... it's a glorified beta. LOL

I tried playing with my mouse and keyboard the first day - that was a mess.

My Thrustmaster is on the way. Should be fun. Need to grab the PSVR2 to PC adapter at some point.

Can't wait to drive around the Nuerburg/Adenau area!
I'm waiting for a few updates before I dive in. I've bought into a number of early access games and then found myself less than excited by the time 1.0 rolls out. Also, I hear there are a few things that still need work (engine sounds, handling), so I don't want to spoil it. I'll keep hotlapping the Ring TF online on AC1 in the meantime.

I am also looking forward to the open world portion when it releases, hopefully by/before mid July. We are going to Germany late July and I plan to run some laps on the Ring, so it would be really cool to drive into the facility from the open world and park at the company I choose to rent the track car from, all the more familiar when I get there.
I've put in a few hours. Very impressed with the tire feedback and braking.

The drive from the Tourist Drive entrance to Adenau is gonna be a blast in AC EVO…. I can’t wait. It’ll be nice to not have a couple kisten of fine German beers in my trunk. LOL
Is this planned for console? I'm casual when it comes to this, but would really enjoy to toss on the Xbox with a wheel and pedals.

You do know there is Asseto Corsa Competion on console/xbox? Sorry, if u do, but your comment made me think otherwise.

I'll probably google it later, but do you know if PS5 is included and will it have PSVR2 support?
I am freaking hooked onto GT7/VR

There is no official ETA on console release yet. IIRC, the planned 1.0 release on PC is Fall 2025. I would expect console follows PC.
Can’t lie, now that the VR works I load up in my sim and use the M4 CSL almost constantly… man what a fun car😁
Version 0.3 is out, massive improvement but we're far from 1.0 release, rumour says it's not ready until spring 2026

Yeah, that didn’t age well.

0.3 is fun though. The Caterham is a hoot and the M4 GT3 is a beast.

I need to get the adapter for the PSVR2 to try out the VR.
