haha yes they all start straight and shiny and end up cooked and crashed. Reckon Ken would have wrecked his fair share of cars in the making though.
Met a drifter the other day, 31, earns 100K a year and has nothing to his name but 8 cars. Only 1 was street legal, the rest were in the panel shop, getting a new motor or gear box, or bushes diff or something. One heavily modified V8 ute that was on the road the night before got defected, and will now be going for parts as to make it legal again cost to much. He was off to court Monday to loose his licensee for the 4th time. Poor guy had an addiction worse then a coc habit. Guess club days can be similar is many ways.
