listen to the commentator who knew it was coming

here's a more detailed explanation "in the busstop chicane, Max had full steering lock to the left (check the onboard). Because of a netcode *glitch and tires locked into each other they ran off the track. Then Sven assumed Max did that on purpose; he obviously crashes into his Max and his teammate on purpose. Max saw this and also decided to crash into Sven on purpose."

*If the outside car pushes the inside car on the right rear quarter, neither car can turn, in iRacing.
Remember all those pundits who claimed Max had matured... Yeah, about that.

Whoever drives into Max then gets it back, even Stevens :D

Well done MAX . Nice ..

It's just a game . Who cares , but next weekend it will be completely different at the Hungarian GP (Hungaroring)

Max is a child, despite his talent.

Although this was a video game, it shows his level of immaturity and to his personality type. He is a man child. His obsession with Lewis Hamilton. His erratic driving when things don't go his way. Etc, etc, etc.

I had a bet with a friend that you and M5Rick would come to his defense and justify his actions. I won $1.
^ Shame you didn't put 50 bucks down then.

They are all very young with the exception of a very few like Alonso. And they make so much money, every whim is catered to…..of course he’s going to act like that.
Why is this topic in the professional motorsports forum?
This is about a computer game. Who cares?!?.
This should be in the simracing forum!!
It's there for a reason!

I can't believe people try and analyze someone's character based on a computer game :sigh:

Probably because it's probably the future of racing itself. And that is unfortunate. 2 days a week I sit 5 feet from a girl that, despite having never actually attended a classroom, has 4 degrees, and yet when something goes wrong it's me that gets all the questions.

The future is simulated reality.

That doesn't explain why it's not in the simracing forum.
Motorsports requires a motor of some kind to be present.
Here, there is none. This is a computergame.
Seeing some biting comments online:

"Wonder if Jos taught him that move???"

"Max = Petulant Child IRL and online."

"Max being a dick? Right, sky is blue, etc..."

"In related news, father Jos was so enraged by Hasse’s move, he punched his girlfriend. Again."

"All the comments about it being just a video game and the like. If people put time to practice, get good, and play the game, how is it really all that different from real racing other than the lack of injury. You are not allowed to take people out in real life not just because of safety concerns. It also ruins the sport and the same goes here."

"Contact happens in real racing and sim racing ... that's why most racing organizations have penalties.
Intentional contact is seriously frustrating and really undermines the whole purpose of racing. But, retaliating against another driver..."

I reckon it's because the topic involves motorsports professionals.

Because it's popular real-racing drivers? Remember; popular rules.
SIM-games-section, I can show you where it is lol

Sorry, 1 motorsport professional. not professionals
The other guy in the crash is of the typical 'living in his parents basement' calibre.:lol::lol:

I bet Max encounters players like this all the time, just waiting to ram him off the track. Just because he's Max Verstappen, the F1 world champion.

Really, this topic is not worth the professional motorsport forum, it doesn't bear any news considering this. It's a sim racing thing, a computer game. No one cars what happens in a computer game.
This topic is about just as exciting as a picture of Max eating an apple.
Max being Max is tough to watch...not pretty.

Only if you're a butthurt Hamilton fan.
Then I can imagine this is about just as though to watch as Hammy not performing on track for the 2nd year and Max dominating the field....

But normal people just don't care about what happens in a computergame.
It isn't Max's fault...he had a horrible role model growing up. His actions just show how his classless background affects. There have been many terrific athletes that weren't terrific people. As was said earlier, pundits keep saying he's matured...nope.
No fewer than seven F1 websites have reported on his SIM disqualification...people need to know.

I bet those F1 sites didn't have a simracing section, like this forum has...:confused2
The way you post your post insinuates that if it isn't posted in the professional motorsports forum it can't be posted on this forum at all, but that clearly isn't the case.
Here, people need to know in the correct subforum imho.
What happens in a computer racinggame has nothing to do with professional motorsports, and everything with simracing.

And whether or not Max has 'matured' clearly depends on the level of butthurt. Most people don't care what happens in a videogame. There is a difference whether or not you get rammed of track at high speed in a videogame or in the real world, where people actually can die in high speed crashes. But it takes a 'matured' insight to understand that.
This is just a silly topic.
