My old stomping grounds! I used to live in Santa Rosa

I just returned from attending a funeral in my home town in central Indiana. It's sad to see the old barns and grain silos disappearing so rapidly.

The first and I believe only railroad freight train bridge to cross San Fransisco bay. Built in 1910, abandoned in 1982. Moffett Field is in the background with Hangar 1 just out of sight behind the deep water channel turnstile.

Tried some low light photography last night....this was my favorite shot

Full Moon rising over River Lossie Estuary, Lossiemouth, Northern Scotland.

Aurora Borealis taken at our west beach here in Lossiemouth, Northern Scotland, last Sunday evening, 26th February. Even the 40% Moon couldn't wash out the display.
Seen here with an aircraft flying overhead.
