That's my motto in my job, which is supporting faculty with our Learning Management System (LMS). I'll show them how to use it and do what they want with it, but I won't do it for them. They need to learn how to do it themselves. This approach is apparently unique at my school, so there's been push back. But many of them are now proud of their ability to use the system and brag to me how they've shown other faculty in their departments how to accomplish things with the LMS. That's when I know I've succeeded.
