Looks a lot better! I don't mind the edited look, it works just fine here!

Looks real good. One thing I can appreciate is the correct location of the sun glare in relation to the shadows. See so many edits where the two don't match up.

This thread inspired me to dust off my Wacom tablet and play around in Ps.

Here is some major dirt and bug removal. I didn't have time to get the car washed, so it was absolutely filthy. I also painted out a bunch of orange cones along the road. It was sunset so I wanted to bring back that orange glow from the left as well as how it hit the trees. The sun was actually very brights and orange, and my camera balanced the color a way too cool compared to reality.

I would clone out the white thing in the windscreen too. Other than that it's looking fine.

I went out and bought my first camera yesterday. So my experience is 0. But it was fun taking a few photos and doing a bit of post. Any tips and tricks are welcome!

Do you somehow steal just a bit of our souls in the process?

There is a big difference on what you are able to do with an initial RAW file versus JPG. You can use jpg but its highly recommend that you take photos in RAW format.

Actually looking back it now, it does but any less exposure would make the details of the car less.

Might help to play with the highlights and white levels.

Absolute beginner at this (photography and post-production), have great respect for the work that goes into it and wanna improve. I feel like I've over-edited these shots, but I love the vibrant look.

It's not too shabby, but your blacks are a little too low IMO. If you're using lightroom, a good starting point would be to bump up clarity, vibrance and saturation just slightly (+10 each). And depending on the photo, I've sometimes had good success bumping up the shadows just slightly.

I would say the car is. It's the only one that I shot from that angle. It's a shame. Guess I'll have to go shoot it again!

I would. It's a great location! I would find a way to straighten those buildings though. Are on an inclined portion of the parking structure?
