Is M3's acceleration similar to F california?

Hello Guys!

4.0 414hp/295lbft
vs
4.2 460hp/357lbft
Both with DCT

E92 M3 is like 200lbs lighter than the Cali. Overall, I think Cali is faster and it is more torquey than M3. I was thinking trade in my dd C63 chipped for a M3 but I already feel my Cali is slower than my C63. I think I am spoiled by my previous 997TT.

C63 6.2 451hp/443lbft heavy, crappy gearbox, handling is pretty torquey
997 TT 3.6 480hp/460lbft lighter, AWD, fastest overall

So I guess if I really switch to a M3. I will not be satisfy with the acceleration correct? Don't get me wrong, I love M3:) It's just I am spoiled by MHP C63 and my old 997 TT.

Going from a chipped C63 to a M3 won't satisfy your need for speed, especially for daily use.

IMO stick with the C63 and Ferrari, unless you have money to burn and want to switch to the M3 for the hell of it. And if you do have money to burn, my friend is a Nigerian Prince and could use your help.

You seem ocd about it. You have an active thread on the topic already on M3post with responses given today.

So this guy has agonized for five months over whether to trade his C63 for a M3 but used to have a 997TT and has a Ferrari California at the moment.

To OP, I came accross a few of your threads and they are quite assuming. You live in Taiwan, assuming in Taipie. What does it matter whether you have an M3/C63/911 for DD when it comes to handling or gear box. You can't even go pass 25 in the city and even 60 on main highway.
