That is not bad at all. Its not super light, but no where near the 29.5lbs that my 19 inch Hartge wheels weighed (I only had them for about a month for that reason).

So the front is 22lbs WITH the tire? thanks for posting this

Glad I opened this thread. I have no doubt about going with semi-gloss black powdercoated wheels now . But there's no doubt those grills have to go man; I just ordered the OEM performance gloss black ones (aftermarket ones don't fit like stock).

I'm also going to body-color my stock gills since the aftermarket ones don't have the fit or sturdiness of stock gills, will be cheaper, and they're pretty much out of harm's way so they don't have to hold up like the grilles. My only doubt is what to do with the exhaust tips (stock exhaust here). Might leave them chromed. Am about 55% stock chrome and 45% semi-gloss black; can't decide. Car looks great man. That's what that color needs; more aggressiveness. Take care.

not a fan of the clear reflectors though. I think it would look cleaner with painted ones instead

Just with black wheels buddy, and that's just my opinion, of course. I was going to leave car stock, but after my relatively minor accident, insurance gave me full MSRP for the 3 scratched wheels AND let me keep mine, so powdercoating them was a no-brainer. Plus it's going to make the car more aggressive, which is exactly what my 'baby blue' beast needs . And black grilles complement black wheels perfectly IMO. I'll leave the exhaust tips alone, but will powdercoat the muffler flat black. I'll also delete the reflectors since the bumper needs to be replaced. And paint the gills body-colored as well. Will have money leftover, but it'll be used to pay the inevitable premium increase . This is my first accident, but other than having to wait forever to get the car fixed (1-1/2 months), it has been a much better experience than I ever expected. Both adjuster and bodyshop want to leave my car in like-new condition. And I also helped minimize the bill by polishing the headlight, taillight, and side window to avoid replacing them... and insurance waived my $1K deductible for my efforts . Hope the new look helps me not lose the love for the car, plus it'll be free. In fact, better than free since I'll have money leftover.

Thanks for all of the feedback! Negative and Positive... I just wanted to share some pics of the SS II color w/black 20 inch rims for folks to see. Maybe I will help some people with SS II M3's decide? I have taken alot of everyones advice and I did (already last week) order not black, but CF Kidney Grills and CF Fender Grills from Modbargains. Just received them in the mail today. Waiting for our first /// M Flight trip/drive to G Power and will have some pics taken on the Autobahn. I will post them in April, G Power trip is on SAT 27 March! We will be about 25 to 30 M3's deep rolling single file at about 100-120 miles per hour in the left lane on the A Bahn's...

Car looks sick , leave the grills the way they are , looking forward to see it in person
