There's no way on earth that Lando will trip up MAX knowingly at that first hairpin without endangering himself also but he may try something without DNFing himself. He knows all the dirty tricks like the highest paid footballers.

Helmut Marko lost an eye because of a projectile on track.

"At the French Grand Prix on July 2, 1972, at the Clermont-Ferrand circuit, Helmut Marko was forced to end his racing career. On lap eight, while closely following Emerson Fittipaldi, he was struck in the face by a stone kicked up by Fittipaldi’s car as it cut a corner. The rock pierced his helmet visor and caused irreparable damage to his left eye. Despite the injury, Marko managed to stop the car before losing consciousness. He was assisted by Vic Elford and taken to the medical center, but the initial treatment worsened the condition. He was only taken to a hospital later that evening. Since then, he has worn a prosthetic eye."

They should start with a minimum speed once drivers leave their garage. It’s bullshit leaving the garage and stopping at pit exit blocking other drivers. Teams should also be able to select their garage slot based on team points throughout the season.

That calculated delaying as first in line at the pit exit (with competitors trailing behind) to get a clear track: indeed an annoying trend. FIA should introduce a new rule with penalty to ban this practice.

Which PU will last longer in the last 6 races ?
The Red Bull Honda PU or the McLaren Merc PU ?
We just don't want to get a grid penalty (!)

I think this will be very important for the final WDC results of this season...

I'll say ...Don't push it beyond the limits when it's not necessary.

Chassis tech upgrade is helping the RB21 and takes some of the strain out of the PU, you've seen how MAX is smoother on the whole than Lando. The Mercs pu's have a limit too and if the Mclarens are lagging now chassis wise then that will be pushed onto more demand from their engines.

Exactly . At the very bumpy COTA track it was very visible on the onboards that Lando's helmet got more vibrations than MAX's helmet ...

Completely - remembering Zhou’s gnarly accident at Silverstone in ‘22, he probably would have been decapitated if the halo wasn’t there.
