Problem with side gills..help please

I sent my m3 to a legit auto body shop and told them to remove my side gills and paint all the chrome black..(sand it down first ofcourse so they paint can stick good)..he calls me back saying that he cant do it becuz it will snap off and break and does not wana damage anything..so i picked my car back up..no1 achieved anything..and im pissed a little bit..i want them black so bad..wat the hell..how can i do it?...p.s. any1 know where i could get some white angel eye bulbs..that are quality ...thanx guys

LOL, dude you need to find a new body shop (what friggin morons)! Just do the DIY posted above, looks like an easy one.
