ShaunT123 wroteHaha, nice solution, that poor cable must have gotten some heat!Somehow the two nuts that hold the muffler hanger up decided to come loose and fall out, causing my exhaust to fall slightly and only be held up by the inner rubber mount. I didn't want to get a tow truck just for two bolt, so the trusty iPhone cable was put to good use. I proceeded to drive 60 miles back home:help:
So a while back I got new front tires and the shop damaged the lips of the wheels getting the old tires off. I watched it happen and the guys had a heck of a time getting the tires off so I wasn't really upset about it. Thankfully the shop manager has been more than accommodating and is taking care of everything. Overall a good experience even though it's a crappy situation.
I decided to use the opportunity to do a different color and paid to have all 4 done instead of just fixing the 2 that were damaged for free - I'm paying the shop's discounted price on the other 2.
I'm excited to get the tires back on and get them ceramic coated while they're still squeaky clean, but for now here's a preview.

Yes, these are OEM 359s. I had them done in Bronze Chrome from Prismatic Powders.
tldude876 wroteThanks! Color above.

Swapped pulleys again on the S/C went from 99mm to 96.5mm to 94mm and installed my new ESR RF2 in a customer brushed clear.
Adriano917 wroteDid you have to get a new belt going from the 96.5mm to the 94mm? Noticeable improvement?Swapped pulleys again on the S/C went from 99mm to 96.5mm to 94mm and installed my new ESR RF2 in a customer brushed clear.

^congrats on your 1st track day. One of many? Your M sounds nutty. What exhaust are you running?

It's just OEM Mod. All the rest is stock.
Sick of storing race fuel in 5 gallon jugs at home so trying out this 14g duramax Flo-n-go fuel pump.
VF650 Supercharger on my frozen gray is tuned for 93 octane so having 100 or 101 octane on tap makes for easier mixing

A little holiday pre-Harrop prep:
- Conditioned the rubber boots that connect to the plenum
- Removed TMS power pulley, put stock power pulley back in place
- Sent father-in-law scurrying two towns over to pick up the OEM size belt so I could drive this week.
- Replaced spark plugs - did you know the OEM spark plugs are Platinum and not Iridium?
- Replaced the main belt tensioner pulley
- Removed cold air intake snorkels
- Discovered my oil separators are leaking, replaced the o-rings but will need new separators altogether as the second seal melted to the valve cover. (turns out you can order this gasket so I'll be able to return the oil separators I ordered and just replace the gaskey. I see posts that folks use a layer of gasket seal as well).
Just installed refinished valve covers and all new seals. Wrote a small DIY on this as well to help anyone else looking to do this. Hope it helps!
