Help! Car lit up like a Christmas tree

Was just driving normally and the display just lit up one by one. Car went into limp mode. Can't get to the dealership until Monday. Anyone knows what's going on?

Have you had any issues with your battery? This would be my first item to check......Phil

Recently got new tires and oil changed, doubt that has any connection. Dropping off my car at the dealership Monday so hoping for the best.

Throttle actuators??

one of 2 things.
1. Bad battery- common issue
2. Bad throttle actuator- This is my vote based on experience and the check error messages displayed.

I had something very similar to your codes, except it was showing transmission fault and turned out to be a bad battery.

Makes me wonder with all the fault codes being thrown, why the hell can't it just pop-up with a "battery fault" code? Would it be that hard to do?

It would reduce owners stress levels considerably!

While we're asking, a "spark plug", "throttle actuator" and "rod bearing" code would be nice.

Buy a OBD reader then we can help more...those warnings on the idrive doesn't tell you much

OBD codes are often useless for this car. You need something like Carly to read all the BMW specific codes. Doesn't hurt to check, but the vast majority of issue codes will not show up on an OBD scan tool.

It won't tell you everthing, but it'll give you more hints as to what's wrong with your car.
If you are a DIYer, definitely invest in a OBD tool, if not, you can always take your car to O'Reillys or Autozone type stores. They usually offer free code readings.

Without getting an OBD readout, my money is on Throttle Actuators.

I just had the same messages and it was Bank 1 for me.

Replaced both at the same time.
