P2298 Code Catless

So last week I fixed an issue of a vacuum line leak due to install of an IPE exhaust on my M3 by me.

Fixed the issue and that's good to go now.

However, I got another 'service engine soon' light an notified to me on the vehicle info as Increased Emissions.

The IPE F1 exhaust as you know is catless. Do you believe the code P2298 can be repaired by a tune? Or is the O2 just faulty and needed to be replaced? Or is the O2 sensor faulty and I need a tune anyways? Thoughts? The car is under warranty, but I am hesitant to bring it in, as I know when they see the exhaust they will not warrant it. That and the fact I just don't want to remove the exhaust after all this time spent troubleshooting. After all, I just installed it about a week and a half ago.

If your exhaust is fully catless you will need a tune to get rid of the code.

This is not something that should be addressed with a tune nor something that should be triggered as a result of being catless.
