fuel sensor 2009 m3 sedan

my car just went out of warranty 2 months ago and the service engine soon light came on then went off. i brought it in and the dealer charged me 200 bucks to read a computer and determined it was a faulty fuel sensor. 990 bucks was the quote. am i being ripped off? sounds very high to me.

Does the readout or dealer mention a code?
2722 - Fuel-pressure sensor, signal perhaps

wow 200...... I feel that is a little steep for a quick read of the computer (if that is all they did)

This is a fairly simple DIY and only about 85$ for the part.
