Not sure why you guys don't like the cold start. That's the best part of my morning!
Thanks everyone for your comments! I'm glad you guys are enjoying the tune, and it was a pleasure meeting all of you.

I am here for one more day if anyone else is interested. Hope to meet some more enthusiasts!

Transfer: It does sound cool, but can be overbearing with modified exhaust. It also makes the car incredibly more smooth when cold. Night and day difference.
Thanks Mike for answering my questions. Good to talk with you. See you tonight!

that was easy! :party0030:
is there any reliability issues with removing the cold start? like would the engine work harder with or without the cold start?

ps. to be honest i have no idea what the cold start does besides making the car louder, and yea i know its to heat up the cats faster but have no idea what parameters it changes on the engine to do so.....any clarification? or schooling of me would be great hahah
Don't know but my neighbors already like me again. Haha. Cold start delete FTW

Judd,

Nice meeting you and thanks for the awesome ride in the rain - those tires are legit! Hope you enjoy the tune, dct update and euro mdm. Sweet ride.

For those that asked about cold start, zero reliability issues. It's for emissions purposes only.

Thanks to the many people that came out and visited. The hotel staff was looking at me funny because I got dropped off in a different M3 every day ;)

It was great meeting all of you and I hope to come back soon!

Mike
Thanks for squeezing me in tonight, Mike. I'm glad you enjoyed some Seattle rainy slip n' slide. I know I did! :burnrubbe
The tune is seriously legit and I took a few familiar on ramps on the way home that showcased how much more aggressive the car is now. Up to redline it really roars and there is definitely a power gain. I don't know how much of a gain, but it doesn't matter because it just feels GOOD and it sounds awesome. Somehow the power is even more at my finger tips (or toes) like it's jacked up on roids and just ready to brawl. Call me impressed for a stage 1 NA motor tune!

Sorry you're going to miss the sunshine that's coming, but enjoy the rest of your time here!

Never got the message, sorry about that. Leaving hotel at 10:30AM and heading to airport. That's about three hours from now.

If you can make it in the next couple hours then feel free to stop by.

Call my cell at 310-488-2418

Thanks,
Mike
Off to the airport. Thanks everyone, hope to see you next time!
PM me next time you're coming out and we can talk about doing something!
Not sure when I'll be up there next. I can do everything remotely anyway ;)
Hi Folks - glad to see some of you were able to get an in person tune from Mike while he was up here. Question - since we (Wash St) seem to be one of the few odd ducks in this country selling 92 octane fuel, did Mike make any changes to his tune to accommodate that? I believe most tuners have tunes for 91 and 93, but I haven't seen anything custom for our 92. Anyone know?
He tuned mine to 92 with his magic voodoo skills

When we tune, you can choose what fuel you want incorporated into the tune. This is part of what sets us apart from some of the others. We tailor the tune to your specific vehicle.
Cool, thanks Tech.
For anyone interested, please see this link - one of the members on here is trying to organize something and hopefully we have enough interest for it to materialize:

Will you be making it out to Leavenworth?

will PM you soon to figure out details. Was going to wait until my warranty expires in July...but this makes it too convenient!

Q: I've got test pipes in the garage...but may not have time to install them prior to you being up here; any issues w/ running "stage 2 tune" w/ an OEM exhaust? FWIW I'll be doing a track day on Monday June 16th...so I can't afford for anything odd to be happening.

Thanks!!
