Highest mileage dct m3
Did a search and found some threads with highest mileage m3, but did not specify manual or dct. I'm interested:
1. what is your current mileage w/ dct without any issues and nothing changed/repaired 2. have you ever done a fluid change, if so what mileage 3. Anyone ever change their clutch pack and at what mileage 4. if you had issues, at mileage and what was issue Currently I have 42k milage and no issues. 31 K here ,and i know this not high miliage,but....
OP ask about fluid change ( Pentosin) is done by my BMW dealer at 30 K, in my case as precaution because i wanted a secure feeling of my DCT , and changed nothing about the shift feeling, the only thing that changed the feeling of my DCT was the BPM - DCT software upgrade, DCT shift now very smooth and even quicker, and the second gear lag is gone, car feels now also faster!(THX Mike-Benvo for this)

My SA is a friend of mine and he told me a ton about the reliability and issues of the e90 M3. He said the M3 is one of the most dependable BMW this has been made in the last 5+ years. This is based on what he sees coming through the service dept.
He also said that changing the trans and diff fluid every 30k will prevent long term issues.

27k Track driven and no issues so far. Most of my issues seem to be with interior trim pieces falling off

The person I know has 08 m3 coupe DCT. Early this year he was running 160k (probably over 200k by now) and told me never had any major issue. He said other then regular maintenance he paid nothing and car is still strong.

09 E92 w/ DCT; 52k miles with no tranny problems. Local SA is sticking to the story about how the DCT is sealed for life...not sure yet if I am going to force the issue or not during the next service.

I had my DCT oil pan swapped at 64k, it was leaking oil. Not a big deal to me. As long as there's not a mechanical problem!
Seems to be a semi-common problem, there's a couple threads on it: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...light=dct+leak http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...light=dct+leak http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...light=dct+leak |

At about 45k myself and so far so good; I hope it stays this way for many miles to come. I'll be keeping my car until it hits 1,000,000 miles, haha
