My 2013 M3 went into production today. Not really dreading the wait..!

So, after getting my production number a little over a month ago, my 2013 E92 M3 started production today. I don't get why all of you think the wait is torture?!?! For some reason I'm not that anxious, and just look at it that when the car gets here, it gets here, no big deal...

Oh, and just a little tid bit of info that I left out: I'm still driving my 2011 E92 M3 until the 2013 arrives... Yeah yeah, kinda dumb to order another one, but I absolutely am in LOVE with the car, and wanted to have the last year of the V8.

The wait for the 2011 while it was being built was COMPLETE Torture. So glad I don't have to go through that again, yet to be honest, I was kinda in agony just waiting for it to start production! Doing Performance Delivery this time as well, so definitely excited about that.

LOL, done somewhat blogging for now. For those of you waiting on your 2013 build, once it starts production, time flies by and you'll have the car before you know it..!

Dude you already have an M3, maybe that's why the wait is no big deal?

Congrats on the order! May I ask why you're getting a 2013 when you have a 2011?

Haha, having an M while one is being built makes it a little easier to wait, yet still anxious as can be! These cars are like crack!

It's funny, my CA kinda talked me into trading up. With all of the incentives going on right now (College Grad, Loyalty, USAA, and BMW Ultimate App), I can get into a '13 with the same payment, and even get a couple grand back since my '11 held its value pretty good (I did get a sick deal on it which helped give me the equity that I have in it now)

All in all, This is the first car I've owned that I have had ZERO regrets about. Normally get sick of cars after a year and a half or so, but this car has everything I could ever want and ask for. I'm a huge fan of the V8 engine, and prefer the high revving to the Turbo that will be coming out for the next generation M3. I mean who knows, I may test drive the new M3 and love it, but for now, the current M is a "Perfect" car in my opinion.

See, I sold my GT3 at the beginning of June and have been without a car. So the wait for me has been forever! But I'm taking delivery in less than 2 weeks

I am like you, I usually have to change my cars frequently because I get bored. Although the GT3 was the car of my dreams, it was built for track and not comfortable. And since I had one car only, I had to get rid of her.

I'm not so excited about the new M3 coming with Turbos either. I love NA high-revving engines.

Good luck with the new one

Uhhh, didnt put any down payment on my current lease, and getting money back from the trade, then going into 2013 M3 with similar payment. Yeah, I definitely got taken to the cleaners on this one!
