guys I don't think that was a 1/4 mile race... It seems really longer than that. Maybe a 1/2 mile race?

i went with a ess vt-2 kit this last friday i trapped 122 and he trapped 121 mph. I said the same thing when i saw the video with the car trapping at 118 mph.

The trap speeds are 118mph for the M3 and 105mph for the Z4. Seems like both cars were pretty much stock.

Perhaps they're at elevation or other poor conditions?

Watched a few more vids, and the speeds are rather consistent. That Z4 beat a M6 so it would indeed have a V10.

The video has the cars passing signs marked in meters one says 800. Those signs don't even seem to be accurately placed from the start line, but -

800 meters = 0.497096954 miles

A legit drag strip will have a lot more grip and bite,therefore faster time/trap speed..This looks like a closed off section of an ordinary road,not enough traction is the culprit..
