*UPDATED 12-19-09* HAMANN Modded E93 in So Cal

Previous Mods:
  • Powdercoated OEM 19's-Satin Black(Semi -Gloss)
  • CF Hood and Trunk Roundels
  • CF Wheel Caps
  • H&R Sport Springs
  • H&R Spacers 15' Front 12' Rear
  • AC Schnitzer Blacked Out Trunk Badge

Newly Added Mods:
  • RPI Axle Back Exhaust with Blacked Out Tips
  • RPI Flags
  • Hamann Carbon Fiber Front Lip (Rep)
  • Hamann Carbon Fiber Diffuser (Rep)
  • Hamann Carbon Fiber 135 Trunk Spoiler (Rep)
  • Hamann Authentic Hood and Trunk Roundels
  • Hamann Authentic Fender Badges and Boot Badge
  • Eibach E-93 Springs
  • Custom CA License Plate: M3STLTH
  • Active Autowerkes SSK and Pulley
  • Advan 19' RS-D's Black-19x9+22(F) 19x10+20(R)
  • Vredestain Ultrac Sessanta Tires 245/35/19(F) 275/30/19(R)

Future Mods:
  • Hamann Windshield Decal(for Shows)
  • Advan or Hamann Wheel Caps
  • Hamann Racing Shifter
  • Hamann CF Eyelids
  • Blacked Out Lip-Matte or Gloss (?)
  • Technocraft Envy Charge Pipe

Now for the questions to you guys:

QUESTION 1:
The Advan Rims come capless. I think they need caps.
3 options:
***Advan Caps (custom order and they are silver)
***BMW Carbon Fiber Caps (have to get custom extender to fit)
***Hamann Wheel Caps(best color IMO, but maybe too much Hamann?)

QUESTION 2
Do the rear tires look big enough for the rims and wheel well? They are 275/30/19. I’m thinking I might need to run 10’ spacers all around to push the wheels out slightly wider to make it a bit more aggressive? Thoughts?

QUESTION 3
Is the Chrome lip played out? Should I darken it completely to Matt or Gloss Black? I want to keep the Advan Racing insignia (in white)no matter what. And I definitely prefer the murdered look above all else. These rims and their chrome lip though, have grown on me quickly in just 3 days.

They are amazingly light, strong and make the car perform a whole lot better on turns, lane switching and aggressive driving. A very worthwhile investment to improve over OEM.

I had them installed at Rennspec in El Monte. Jason and Gary are absolutely GREAT PEOPLE and a pleasure to work with. They really understand the Mod Game and do quality work. My spacers didn't have anti-seize when originally installed and they had to methodically use a rubber mallet to get them off without damaging the rest of the rim. It took em extra time but they didn't rush it and everything turned out superb!

I truly appreciate your input and thoughts positive or negative.

Happy Holidays!

Ya you gotta change the chrome! I gotta see this car in person though to give you an honest opinion. I do not think your pics do it justice. If you are in the Irvine area go to the meets! haha.

And what do you got on the inside?

Agreed.

It's coming this week. I described it as "Blacked out Chrome Trim-Vinyl" in Mods Soon.

What do you mean "smoke the clear portion"? You mean the front headlights?

The Chrome trim is ridiculous. No doubt. But EuroRev couldn't get it done this past week. Hopefully this week.

Thanks for your input.

Your vert is going to look sick when you are done. I had no idea there was a hamann trunk replica spoiler out Most of my Hamann stuff is real and cost me $$$$ I could have saved so much money and used it towards other mods Hey do you plan on putting on a Hamann front lip spoiler? where did you order the Monochrome M3 trunk badge keep up the mods your M3 is looking good nice color combo on your vert

They are not gloss. Semi(Satin--they look great)

Matte is not the answer for Jerez due to it's chamelion abilities.

I really wish there was an agressive Spoiler made for the E93. Really nothing.

I think this picture with the Hamann spoiler is very clean and it will make my car stand out from the crowd. JMO.

The H&R looks lower on your car. I wonder if this is due to the extra weight on E93? So far so good.
