Thanks to [GT Motoring] .. more to come!

Hey hey, I always showed up to local car meets as the "stock car", but now that's finally changed! First thing's first. I wanted to thank GT Motoring for their professionalism and for all of their knowledge. They knew the answer to every little question I had and was always easy to contact. I got a great deal on the products and shipping was prompt. It's been great dealing with them.

This is just the beginning of the mods which are the KW Clubsports and I have a pair of wheels coming in ordered from GT Motoring also. Here's a hint, they're being shipped from the only place you can get them, Japan. They should be here end of March. Thanks again!

Here are a ton of pics..

Clubsports arrived via Fed Ex

Open box

All laid out

Yesterday I began the install, here's the car ready for some shorter legs

Top of the struts

Stock front suspension

Removed

KW Clubsport fronts installed

Installed the EDC Code Isolator for the fronts

Stripped the trunk lining

Rear left EDC Code Isolator

I called it a day here and waited till the next day to finish the rears.. Big thanks to Andrew (NinetyEight740) for coming by and lending me a hand =)

Here are the stock rears

Undercarriage shot

Rear shocks installed

And finally the finished product...sorry for the quality, but they were quick and dirty after shots

And finally asleep in the garage..lights out

The fronts can be lowered by another 10 mm and the rears about another inch, but I plan to keep it the way it is. When the new 20" wheels come, it'll be perfect. The fronts and rears are perfectly flush right now, no rubbing or anything even at full lock turns. As far as handling, it feels a lot better simply because of less body roll. I havn't had a chance to take any hard turns yet, but I'll do that tomorrow. I wouldn't say the ride is harsher, but definitely more bouncy. The settings are in "the middle" as far as compression and rebound are right now. Hopefully I'll get some better pictures tomorrow.

Stay tuned next month when the wheels arrive!

:Addendum:

Okay had a chance to take some more photos during the break in the rain. I also had a chance to push the car hard through some turns. The coilovers are VERY nice. No body roll at all, no under or oversteer, but when you want to have fun and punch the gas through the turn you can get some fun rear wheel wheel slide before dsc kicks in. The ride isn't too bouncy or harsh as a daily driver. Love it. Here are more shots.

Wheels at full turn

Don't get why you'd trash your EDC like that but it looks good.

No, it does not. The modules get rid of the fault code in the dash.

It's okay, right now I have it on the suggested KW settings for rebound and compression which is sorta in the middle between hard and soft settings. The instructions do state clearly never to have it on max firm or softest setting. When you go over sharp bumps/dips in the road you definitely will feel it more. It feels "bouncier" to me rather than harsh.. The roads around me are all pretty smooth so I think I'll be fine as far as daily driving is concerned, but if I had to drive on roads that were pretty bad it'd be a strain. It's raining today so I'm going to leave the car inside
