27CE fuel pressure fault won't go away

I am constantly getting the 27CE fault code in my car. I read that it is indicative of low fuel pressure sensor - I had the old version (the copper one) which I replaced with the Bosch sensor as instructed (new o-ring, adapter from BMW). No fuel leaks visible, adaptations cleared, the code is back every second startup and won't go away. It once showed up with a 2B59 code (thermostat), but apart from that it's always just that one. What should I do next?

In case someone has such problem in the future - it all went away after a longer (800km) trip. The car now starts perfectly even if it was sitting for 5 days, cranks and fires up right away. Probably clearing adaptations and changing maps of my tune every few days didn't allow the ECU to adapt to the new sensor.

Good news, I went with a new “copper” sensor with no issue. First one lasted over 110k miles.
