The clicking...did we ever figure it out?
I read that thread about the clicking sound when turn hard right when it first came out and went out and tried to make the noise - nothing. yesterday, when driving on an awesome mountain road:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...37594&t=h&z=15) I had the radio off and the windows down so that I could hear the engine, etc...and the NOISE WAS THERE for the first time!!! Lord... So then I tried it today when the car wasn't as warmed up, and it's still there. It was described PERFECTLY by someone in the other thread as "like a playing card in a bicycle wheel." So did we decide that it was nothing to worry about? (posted at the tail of the other thread but you guys must have missed it) |

No resolution. Some say it's normal on all BMWs. I wonder what it sounds like at an auto X.
