Great write up and pics of Jerez. I was on the fence about Jerez, but after seeing your pics I like it much. Almost like a very deep cobalt blue... in the light anyway. Nice.

Yeah, that's what happens in Mass. The dealer has the plates, but that results in a one-day delay.

Congratulations, amazing car and thanks for the write up! 11.5 mpg is concerning but hey I bet you have a huge smile from just driving the car. Enjoy!

Initial review
Very nice write up and photos. I can't wait to get the first service done--need to take a long trip next weekend.
No disagreements with anything you said. I'm getting a little over 13 mpg taking it easy doing urban/suburban driving for the first 300 miles. Hope it improves with break in. Enjoy, I know I am!

Great write up lucid, the car looks beautiful! The transmission will continue to smoothen out after ~300 miles.

Lucid -
Great pics and thanks for the write-up. I can vouch for the fact that only time that Lucid and CA spent discussing features was when Lucid let him program his Bluetooth phone. When I called him from my car when I was behind him, I think he was surprised that the phone rang in the car! ![]() I think you will find that the electronics work fine once you understand the logic of the menus. Given your self admitted geeky tendencies, this will go quickly (though apparently not fast enough to save your Fastlane transponder). For Fifth, in MA we get plates on delivery except if you want a vanity plate. I think then you have to wait or get a plate and then exchange the number. I think dealers buy blocks of plates and then put them on cars but this still requires a runner to go to the RMV and wait in line to pay some fee and register the number. As Lucid said, it takes part of a day but it does absolve you of having to go to the RMV - missing that experience is something I don't miss. |

Great write up - thanks for the long description. Totally understand about the need for EDC on the Boston roads. I bent 2 rims at once on an expansion join on Rt 1!!!
