Those seats are for extreme enthusiasts only. The seats that come with the M3 are so nice, I'm not sure why anyone would want to change. But to each their own.

EAS sells those pods with the three gages and all the installation hardware necessary to fit them into your car. (you choose the 3 gages you like the most from a short list)

Rear passengers will be a bit pressed to get into the back seat, even more so with a 4-point harness. Since no one is ever in the backseat, this wasn't a concern.

Agreed entirely. The rear bar can also be a bit dangerous if someone in the rear seat dives into it in an accident, though this theoretically should not happen if you are wearing a seat belt as it will restrain you, however, I donīt intent to us the rear seat for anything other than maybe the kids that are not tall enough anyway to hit the bar in case of accident. If ever desired, the rear bar can be removed in about 15 minutes.

Yea sure you can, stock seat belts are 100% usable and look perfect. I went with 4 pot seat belts because the hold you down to the seat a lot tighter.

I have the BMW Performance Seats in my car. Still trying to resolve the issue with the Airbag and Seat Belt warning, since they hijack the instrument cluster display and are very annoying.
Other than that, these seats are height adjustable, they basically have two height settings. I am 6' and have them at the higher setting (as they came) and I have about 3 to 4 inches between my head and the sealing. I tried the lower setting and it seemed too low for me. I think it takes it down at least 2 inches. The seats have to be removed from the car to adjust the height. It requires an allen key to undo the bolts. |
