Review of BMW Seattle and pics of my new E92 M3
I don't usually write reviews of dealerships, but if it was a bad experience, a very bad experience, or a very good experience, I think it's important to do so...
I recently took delivery of a stunning Alpine White E92 M3 from BMW Seattle. It's supposedly one of the last 8 US-spec cars ever to be built (E92 M3 production has long since ended) and I snagged an available allocation (one of two) that Adam at BMW Seattle had unclaimed. Luckily, I got in just in time to configure it exactly how I wanted. Since this is mostly a review, here are the people I worked with at BMW Seattle: Adam Newbold, New Car Sales Manager Karl Enemark, Client Advisor / M Specialist Rachel O'Sullivan, Finance Manager All three were awesome to work with. My initial contact, and consequently also my most frequent engagement, was with Adam. I only met Karl when I finally arrived and Adam sent me over to him to finalize the paperwork and get everything set up (BMW Assist, and that sort of thing). Adam was absolutely amazing throughout the process. Karl was also incredible, and made everything painless, smooth, and in such a way that it did not feel like the typical car purchase. Having participated in almost 15 purchases over the last decade, this is probably the most important thing for me... I don't want to feel dirty after buying a car. Here's my spec: Alpine White Fox Red/Black/Black ZCP Competition Package ZPP Premium Package 2MK M Double-clutch Transmission with Drivelogic 326 Rear spoiler deletion 494 Heated front seats 4MY Carbon Leather interior trim 688 Harman Kardon surround sound system Z06 Black Kidney Grilles Z10 Performance Exhaust Z21 Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps Z22 Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler Z2F BMW M Perf Steering Wheel While we weren't able to factory order the Black Chrome Side Gills and the Black M3 GTS Wheels, I was able to pick up the wheels from Turner Motorsport, and the gills from a different dealership (Adam secured the order and overnighted them for me). He had both the wheels and the gills installed in time for my arrival, and they truly complete the picture in an AW M3, in my opinion (pics to follow). I want to throw in a plug for Turner Motorsport. They were awesome to work with (on the wheels), and shipping was prompt, quick, and ensured that they arrived at BMW Seattle with enough lead time. Now, I wait again; waiting for a truck to pick up my car from BMW Seattle and truck it down to me in Cali. Delivery Photos: For comparison, here are photos of my car post-PDI, post-detailing, but before the Black Wheels and Black Gills were installed: Many thanks go out to Adam and Karl! Despite the inconvenience* of buying out of state, as a California resident, I'll definitely be hitting them up again for my next BMW's. (* out of state purchases require a VIN inspection at the DMV and a full Smog check at a testing site.) Last edited by GreenLantern; 04-15-2014 at 11:54 PM.. |

Thanks. And... I just realized that I didn't actually take any interior pics when I was up in Seattle. That's annoying, heh. Luckily Adam shot a few and those were the ones you saw above.

Congrats..... Out of all the BMWs I purchased (at least 5), I always went to BMW Seattle first and they have always been the most expensive or won't even consider doing ED. I love their service department but won't ever order a car from them.
Your car looks great BTW.....

Nice car, glad you got what you wanted!
BMW of Seattle has good coffee. Service reps are pretty good too, otherwise in WA state I would probably push people south to BMW Northwest, unless dealing with the internet department. Seattle and Bellevue tend to be overpriced in my experience. |

I know Adam really well. He's one of the nicest sales people I have ever known. In fact, he is the only reason to go through Seattle BMW
Congrats on your car, OP. I saw that car in-person when I was there a bit ago. It's a real looker. My wife was drooling over the interior, and Adam was trying to get me to trade in one of my cars and get one of the last allocations they had.
