I think build date sept 2010 and after had Bluetooth streaming for the M3. That would be really nice, I'll admit.

I would have preferred one of the'09s 10's or 11's, but my #1 criteria was low miles. So I could have an '08 w low miles AND a warranty on my budget, or a newer car without a warranty. Obviously I chose the former.

Yes good call. Mine was an 08 and had no desire to get newer due to minor changes.

Yes, I have the same car and same exhaust. Tips stick out too far. A dealer isn't going to catch that. Also for reference I purchased my E90 CPO from a dealer and they didn't recognize it had an E92 M performance exhaust vs E90.

Enjoy the car, sound is intoxicating with the dinan intake and exhaust.

Also, I'll try and snag a pic from the same angle for reference.

Ha! That's why the seatbacks are hard plastic.

I have some rules, but I try not to be too overbearing about it.

- no food or drinks, period (they're only in my car for short stints)

- I open the doors

- please keep your shoes off the seats

- INSIDE VOICES!

Congrats! Beautiful!

Great pic with the kids! Love when people use these cars as they're intended and don't stare at them in the garage. I used to be like that, no more!

Congrats again OP!

Thank you!! Yeah, this will be my one and only car. It's going to get driven. I figure, life's too short to drive a boring car. I want every mile to count before we're all riding in cars that drive themselves...

PLEASE post several pictures so I can compare. Perhaps the picture I took is f'd, or maybe my exhaust is f'd. Who knows. I think it looks right in real life.

The purchase receipt shows the correct Dinan part # (D660-0028). D660-0027 is for the coupe and convertible. Perhaps the picture i posted is just at a bad angle.

Thanks. Glad you've seen the light! This car is truly one of the best all-rounders that has ever been made, but only if you use it as such! As much as it stings to see the rock chips my girl has accumulated on her hood, that feeling is quickly overcome by the joy I get from driving my car every chance I get.

Here's one more.

Good to hear, must be a weird angle. I've also read of inconsistent tip length E90 exhaust to E90 exhaust. Only thing that matters is it looks right to you.

Reference pics below.

Thanks a million for taking the time to take and post those pictures. I'm convinced the Dinan pipes on my car are identical (or at least within 1/4") to the pictures you posted. Although the quality is poor, here's one I just snapped:

I agree that the E90 is a great overall utilitarian car for someone with kids.
I also agree that you got a great color combo hahaha

I'd look in to the britax seat protector or something similar for that car seat
http://www.britaxusa.com/accessories...seat-protector

Although it only comes in gray, I have two for both of the car seats in mine. It has an apron for the feet/shoes so it doesn't scuff the lower leather.

I've been using some baby blankets and it looks pretty ghetto. I was thinkign about using some extra floor mats from my last M3, but that was even worse. I've got the kid seat installed in the middle of the back seat--i'm wondering if the Britax cover you've got would fit in the middle seat or if it would be too wide and i'd have to cut it. For $29, who cares. We shall see.
