Newb help, just bought a m3 at auction. Where are the door locks? I know it's stupid but I couldn't find them. Help!

are you asking how to lock the doors from the inside? there is a button in the center console near the AC vents

If you do not have a manual, do a search, or download it from BMW Owners site.

Thanks guys I know it seems silly but I was expecting it in the door or by the shifter. I doesn't have a manual so I'll download one thanks. It's a 2011 convertible.

I know I know but now I own an m3 I'm a happy guy. At least I know how to work the DCT.

And really the little BMW logo on the fob is the lock button ? Sheesh!

Now try to figure out how to turn the A/C completely off. Coming from Pontiac and Dodge this car threw me some curve balls too....lol

Or what position the mirror switch needs to be in for the passenger mirror to tilt down when you're in Reverse.

OP - Did you try asking at the auction for the service books to be provided? Sometimes dealers will hold on to the books until prompted.
