if i may chime in AA is an amazing F1 sound if you ask me,
i have had it on my car for close to a year now and have not gotten tired of it. It is a head turner when you come down the street, had several tuners pull up to me to congratulate me on the exotic sound, i purposely roll my window down when i drive a stretch near the house where there is a wall right next to the street so the sound bounces off of the wall into my ears. I have the full exhaust not just the muffler, catless goodluck with your decision

You need 10K more rpm (and 1.6L less displacement) to sound like an F1 . So no matter what exhaust you have in place, an M3 will NEVER sound like one. What you want is a very subjective sound some refer to 'exotic', and the only way to know if you like it is listening to one. More than half of the available exhausts make that claim. Good luck in your quest.

No cross plane V8 will ever sound like an F1 car, no matter what kind of exhaust you slap on it.
