Simply, the kit is more complex than previous kits, requires more attention to detail & if something is not installed properly then it will not allow the car to run properly. The new V8 changes the set-up completely from the previous straight 6.

The end result will want to make money fall out of your pocket

Price will be provided after the New Year
Fantastic, maybe this SC M3 will coincide with mine. Would be nice.

Taza's M3 is not supercharged anyway, so what point are you trying to make?
You can buy the kit if you really wanted to. There is Tony Kannans car making over 700rwhp from AA as well.

You are so wrong its amusing... I was just laughing after reading some of your sentences. Not to offend HPF, but they have not had 1 single car making over 800rwhp on the streets for more then 1 day. They advertised 1 car making 840rwhp but that was just for the dyno and admittedly turned the boost to around 750rwhp or so. That car was driven for about 2 weeks then never heard of again.

I was driving my car making over 830rwhp for a year...(before HPF even had a kit)

My car made 1100rwhp lol....

So get your facts straight, thanks...

If you look at the supercharged cars, VF cars tend to make the most power on the E46 M3. Not opinion, fact. Not to mention VF tunes on 91 not 93, those in California would be wise to take this into account.
VF makes a good kit, thats for sure! Remember though my AA kit made 503rwhp with a slipping belt over 3 years ago!!! Oh ya, i was in CA too. Yet again your "facts" are not really facts.

Get your own facts straight, HPF has dyno'd over 1000 wheel. You forget their stage IV conveniently?

Evosport has a car at 1000 wheel as well. You had your time in the sun, it was nice, move on. Has your car sold yet?

How much did you spend again? Ya, you could have AA replicate the work of course, but don't act like it is an off the shelf kit. How many other cars are running the same setup again? Ya, that is what I thought. How many cars does HPF have running turbos? Ya, that is what I thought.

Facts? Fact is AA Tunes on 93, Florida pump. VF tunes on 91 pump. Period.

Sticky,

No need for you guys to argue and to set the record the straight we do have access to 91 octane here in Florida. We have always tuned our SC'ed cars for 91 octane. Our E46 M3 SC'ed cars have been on the market longer than any other companies and we have never had an engine failure with the majority of our customers residing in CA. Over the years we have created custom maps for customers worldwide for our SC kits and we have also assisted customers who needed assistance with tuning of other kits. Since we have the ability to tune in house we have also created custom maps for some of our customers like Taza or TK who decide to run a higher octane. Remember you and Taza are both enthusiasts who have a strong passion for these cars, please lets not turn this thread into a big argument. Feel free to shoot me a PM with any other questions or concerns. We will be releasing more information soon.

Regards,

Well, the thing about the motor is the power comes from torque multiplication with revs.

We know the DCT is rated to 440 pound feet. So even with that amount of torque at 8k, it is well over 600 wheel.

Basically, the DCT should be fine at the ~550 wheel people will be running on pump gas. Once exceeding this amount substantially, the DCT will need to be beefed up and I assume the aftermarket will be able to accommodate. Look at all the DCT's on the market now pushing the limits. Upgrades are already available for the GTR.

It sounds awesome, I would spend the money just for the sound and then the HP would be the bonus.
