Looks like the E36 has a cage too and a tow hook so maybe its a track car and the wing is semi functional

They make a similar one here it is at a local meet

ok this is the girl in the picture, I am also the owner of the S5 parked next to that hideous m3, and thank you for noticing my response. I have no words for that vehicle....
