Hey congrats mister, you'll love it. And it's not so much the exclusivity of the color (or the cost) that's exciting, it's how fantastic it looks in person. I was a huge fan of LeMans Blue (and still am for that matter, it was on my 135 before the M came along) but MCB just screams "M" in my opinion. And U.S. availability (very limited) based on special request was confirmed to me when I was in Munich earlier in the year to pick mine up. The bad news (for a change when it comes to color choice) was that Canada wasn't going to get any. There were a few handfuls (don't know the exact number) dropped here in 2010 (Edition models) but none for 2011 except mine so far. I posted that info for the U.S. guys hoping for the color. If more of you can opt for it, it's a wonderful thing and worth the $$$ IMO.

All the best and enjoy!!!! Mark

I just made the choice to do Euro Delivery of the car and I finally opted for ZCP and no 19" 220! This is what it'll look like:

Thanks for the advice Mark, your car is what made me go with MCB. Absolutely stunning car! I was going to get an Ecru colored interior, but I think Bamboo is beautiful in its own right. All the best to you as well.

Also, You should take a look at member "Mark's M" car if you already haven't. His is also MCB (he's from Canada) and looks gorgeous with the GTS style black Competition Package rims. Looks amazing. Check it out.

I saw his car, it's incredibly nice. Having the only MCB car in the country would definitely be cool. Thanks again for the kind words.

Excellent decision choosing ZCP and Euro delivery (even though it'll be in the winter time). Picking my car up in January scared me away from Euro delivery at the time, but if I could do it all over again, I would have gone through with it.

Can you post your net cap cost... or in other words what you negotiated the car down to? Money Factor? Residual Value?

p.s. I wasn't aware that you could get Carbon Fiber Splitters on ED.

Congrats! That car is a dream- perfect! Doing a simple lease calculator with your numbers, assuming CA tax is 9.25%, I'm coming up with $948/month. Not sure if I have the tax right in CA. I'm not familiar with it.

Lease Period (months) 36
MSRP (total, including options, destination) $78,425
Invoice (total, including options) $68,385
Offered Price $68,830
MACO/Training $0

Total Price $68,830
(click to change)
Acquisition Fee $725 Paid Upfront
Down Payment $0
Tax on Down Payment: $0.00
Govt. Fees $914 Paid Upfront
Title Fees $0 Paid Upfront
Doc Fee $55 Paid Upfront

Residual percentage 59%

Returning Customer (Yes/No)? Yes
BMWFS Base MF 0.0021
Dealer Markup 0
Number of MSD 0

Reduction per MSD 0.00007
Total MSD Reduction 0
Money Factor 0.0021

Tax Based On (choose from menu)? Payment
Tax Rate 9.25%
Tax Paid Upfront? No
Tax $0.00 Tax added in payment

Cap. Cost $68,830.00
Residual value $46,270.75
Only 7 allowed for returning customers
Lease Charge $241.71
Depreciation $626.65

Eclipsis,

My numbers don't add up the same as yours.

E92 ED Invoice - 49965
Individual Paint - 4550
MDCT - 2640
Competition - 2275
Convenience -2640
Prem Package -2640
Smarthphone - 135
Prem. Sound - 1730
CF Splitters - ???

Invoice = 66,575

Your quoting invoice at 68,385, a difference of 1810. Unless the splitters cost 1810, something is wrong.
Have you included MACO + Training in your Invoice? What about Gas Guzzler and Destination Fees?

Edit- You're doing ED, so there is NO MACO + Training

Very nice color! Up until now, I'd say Estoril was my favorite BMW blue, but that's right there with it. Only downside is that noone will think much except "pretty car"; enthusiasts will know it's special.

Okay. Well in that case -

E92 ED Invoice - 49965
Individual Paint - 4550
MDCT - 2640
Competition - 2275
Convenience -2640
Prem Package -2640
Smarthphone - 135
Prem. Sound - 1730
CF Splitters - 821.86

Invoice = 67,396.86
Gas Guzzler = 1300
Destination = 875
Doc Fee = 55

Total = 69,626.86 + Any Dealer Profit you've agreed to + Tax & Licensing.

Have your CA go over the numbers with you. Something is wrong.

Edited my last post to reflect. let me know what happens when you talk to your dealer. Also, see if you can manage a December 1st pick up date. That's when I'm going.

Thanks for the help esquire. My CA just got back to me (he's been great with communication):

E92 ED Invoice - 49965
Individual Paint - 4550
MDCT - 2640
Competition - 2275
Convenience -2640
Prem Package -2640
Smarthphone - 135
Prem. Sound - 1730
CF Splitters - 821.86

+ $1300 (gas guzzler)
+ $875 (destination charge)
+ $445 (profit and prep)

Total - $68,830 + $821.86(splitters) = $69651.86 + tax and license

Wish I could do Dec. 1 delivery and meet up with you, unfortunately I'll have finals at that time (in my last quarter of undergrad).

Well it looks like he's making a miscalculation that works to your benefit. If you add up all those numbers (being careful not to add the splitters twice) the total comes out to ... 70,016.86 (and that's not including your 55 dollar doc fee).

Feel free to do the math. But heck, if it's working to your favor, go with it.

Lol. I have no clue. I don't think I'll be driving the car around much though since it will be winter. Tentatively thinking about going to Prague. Past that, I still have about 1 and half months to figure it out.

I see the discrepancy now. PP2 is 2275, not 2640. So the latest figure you posted (69,651.86) is correct.

I was thinking of going to Milan, then to Geneva through the Stelvio pass, then back to Munich. Need other people's recommendations though.

I'll let the CA know about the discrepancy. Do you think the residual and money factor are fair?

yeah, the residual and money factor sound right to me. who are you working with?

re: the trip. i love italy, but milan is usually at the bottom of my list of places in italy to visit. i've heard some amazing things about budapest. considering going there. it all depends on how much sense it makes though, within the context of my timeline.
