Body looks in decent condition, so don't think it was in an accident. Possibly engine?? airfilter box looks missing? Doesn't start/doesn't drive.

What would it be worth?

Curious

One of the latest produced sedans, fully loaded incl comp pack and individual audio. With 26k miles on the clock. Shame, that's a rare car and worth getting in shape assuming price is the right. Keep us posted should you make a move Ycb.

Cheers

Find out where the car came from and make sure that it wasn't flood damaged. Once a car is immersed in water you need to plan to change everything that can corrode and everything electrical. You will need to remove all carpet and trim and essentially sterilize the air vents. You'll spend more than a new car will cost.

Carfax says it was an accident and a total loss, though it also implies hail damage.

I'm just telling you what CARFAX says. I don't see any accident damage either, but if the thing isn't running and was declared a total loss...

So my co-worker went to check this out today.. Turns out it was flood damaged, water 4 inches high (inside) the car.. They detailed the car before it was placed in auction.. hence the seats/carpets looked alright in the photos..

Car ended up selling for $23,400 + tax CND..

Hail damage was said to cost $338.00 to repair lol.
"Miscellaneous" damage was $58,xxx

that's pretty cheap actually, it basically sold for the value of the engine + transmission and a few misc high value electronic parts and interior trim.

this is assuming no damages to engine and transmission of course,.

I bought my fully loaded 08 salvage in December 2012. It had a hit on the front bumper, trunk, windshield and front passenger door from hitting someone. No other damage. Seemed silly to total since damage was very light. 25k miles later and one VF650 in, only issues have been a bad idle control valve. Nothing else. Check the car carefully with a qualified person.

By the way, she's for sale 😎

My 2008 E93 car was flood damaged totaled in 2011. Water was up to door sills. Engine was hydrolocked, but after 3 oil changes car started. However, dealer said oil was still milky and recommended new engine (34k installed) plus other minor flood issue expenses (carpet was removed and seats were unbolted). Car was totaled by insurance company, sold for 27k at auction, sold for 29k on ebay and the new owner drove from Philly to New Orleans without incident. It has been 4 years so wonder what issues he had?
