hmmm, not to spoil anyone´s party since I do like some of the things you are doing to the vehicle etc... and certainly admire this sort of commitment, but those holes in that part of the chassis have got to affect rigidity and not sure that those almost 90 degree turns on the exhaust pipes would not hamper air flow.

I agree with Mexico, I was a little concerned the holes for the exhaust. Just from examining the underbelly of the car, that definitely appears to be a load bearing structure of the vehicle.

What we have taken away of load bearing structure around the exhaust holes has been replaced before we ended with a welded crosstube. So we are confident that it sholdn't affect the rigidity of the car.
.... and shure, 90 degrees turns and exhaust air flow is not the best combination. But since we have taken away everything from the catalyser to the mufflers and replaced it with a straight 3" tubing. We are certaint that it should get the air out..... |

Today...
Here is what the car looks like today.....
News: Tinted windows and started the making of BMW Perfomance stripes. What will be done this weekend: More paintwork, and mounting of the new fuelcell... witch will get the engine running again and listen to the new exhaust |

I am amazed at how much time and effort you guys put into this car
Still not my cup of tea by any means, but hopefully the car does well as a marketing tool for your company |

Finally finished.....
We are at this point happy to present a finished product (on the outside)...
This is how the car will look like when it burns tires on the racetrack this summer...!!!! (We still have to put in a rollcage and some other details on the inside before we will put it on the test....) Enjoy...!!! |
