reinstalling track pads - advice

I've just reinstalled my carbotech brake pads for a DE event. any particular recommendations - do they have to be completely re-bedded? few hard braking from high speeds? They have just enough time to put a new surface on the rotors, but I'm not sure of the best procedure. thanks.

check out Carbotech's website and see how do they recommend for bedding. You should follow it instead of depending on luck.

FWIW, when I spoke with Carbotech technical support on the phone some time ago, they told me their compound was "compatible" with the OEM compound and that it was not necessary to scrub the rotors prior to switching back and forth between OEM and their pads. They did recommend the bed in. Honestly, I never really performed it after forgetting to bed them in once and not noticing any difference. From then on, I just put them on, drove to the track, and never had problems of any kind with XP10 and XP12 compounds.
