Wow, lots of bad advice on here. Is absolutely should not be down to what kind of transmission you want or if you are more concerned about drag racing or track work. These cars are so close in every aspect. Most don't launch well enough to worry about the differences at the strip and most don't drive well enough to worry about the differences on the track. The C63 absolutely isn't a non handling track slouch. Ugh.

Also OP: read the wealth of other treads alread on this topic.

Oh 1 more thing. When I was looking at the C63 the dealer actually agreed on $53K by word of mouth. When we actually sat down it went up to $62K. So careful with the Merc dealers out there.

We know nothing about that specific car he got offered for that price, so I don't think such a call is warranted at this point.
Trying to get some balance in favour of the C63 is fine, e-slapping anyone with a differing opinion isn't.

Depends what you're after dude.

I'd rank them:

E92 6MT
C63
E92 DCT (but don't do it man !)
E90 6MT (again don't do it !)

You are so against the E90 M3, that it doesn't even make sense. Especially after viewing your posts in the other thread.

There are a few things that turn me away from the c63 and towards the m3.
I think on overall exterior looks alone i prefer the c63. However, the one MAIN thing that totally turns me off is the interior. Surrounded by plastic, so plain looking just absolutely blah. Granted, I think the m3 interior is middle of the road with Audi on top. I say this because I just sold my S5 and am very close to purchasing an m3 sedan. I loved the Audi, but need a sedan with a automatic transmission now and the new s4 just inst going to have enough power for me or I would stick with them. Another main thing that the c63 is lacking is adjustable suspension. I mean the M3 has several options letting you adjust a variety of things which is something i think is a must these days for performance cars in this price range. Also, a few last rants, the car doesn't have a push-button start or a back-up camera or park distance sensors. I hear they are going to be added to the 2010 model, but for me the car really lets me down on the inside and seems prehistoric. It's all about the overall driving experience for me, and the M3 sedan with the DCT is my choice. Hope this help and best of luck with whatever you choose.

Sorry no offense intended. I'm 100% sure that committed E90 owners see it the exact opposite way to me. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that. It's just a personal thing, I've had saloons(sedans) in the past and they always left me cold. Another poster was just looking to get a reaction in the oter thread and got a bit confrontational etc.

Poseur prejudice. Looks like envy that the sedan is as good as the coupe at everything, yet far more practical and a bit cheaper.

The most ludicrous thing I have ever read. LOL.

E90 does everything the E92 does and more for the driver and everyone in his family. E90 is a far greater reason to get over C63 than the E92 over C63 simply because it has four doors (which is where the M3 coupe is disadvantaged over C63) and offers everything the coupe does including all the driving experience. You make absolutely no sense. If anything, E90 M3 is one more reason to get M3 over C63.

The only thing different about it is the looks, which is subjective. Some people like the coupe and some people like the sedan.

to condense your entire post into one sentence: the e90 has two more doors.

Dude, it really depends on you. Will you be tracking much?? if not then get the c63. Ill put it like this. The c63 is a car for a normal driver. The m3 is for the more pre/edgy drivers. Plus the noise the c63 makes....INSANEEE

Z06...
But, none of the practicality, no back seats, refinement, comfort, quality and luxury.

Z06 is a bada** track car, but that is all it is.

For the money, M3 is just as close a race track car can gets to an easy-to-live daily driven car with all the amenities.

I have offers to get the C63 for a little over 5k under invoice. The M3 will cost 67-69k (msrp 71-73k) while the C63 will cost 57-59k (msrp 66-68k).

If you also intend to track the car, M3 is IMO a more balanced chassis and will outrun the 63 there. You will also have more fun. 63 is an amazing car as well and certainly outruns the M on straight line. I also personally like the looks of the M3 better. You should also ask the same question on a AMG post to have all sorts of opinions. I own both AMG´s, M´s and others. M is think is a better sports car than the AMG.

Don't wanna be rude guys but Evo X is definitely not an economical car tho it's insane

If money isn't a problem , i'd go with M3 6MT .. i do not like DCT nor Auto, if i own a car like M3 i want to feel it entirely..

For me Auto in such a powerful car as C63 AMG is like Ferrari Enzo Hybrid

Go Get M3

the only extra thing you'll be feelin is clutch engagement.

they don't even sell ferraris with 6mt anymore.

I mean , sports car and AT doesn't fit for me together.. but everyone's taste is different right?

The most important thing is , that you will be satisfied with your choice, if it's C63 or M3
