Anybody with ZCP.
My set up on the 2008 E92 M3 with OEM 19" wheels was H&R race springs (red) and Rogue Engineering Wheel Spacers 15mm front and 12mm rear. Worked out great. I loved the look and the feeling. I want to do the same thing with my 2011 E92 M3 with ZCP. The question is: will this set up be ok with ZCP?
thanks

The Style 359M wheels stick out an extra 4mm front and rear compared to the Style 220s, and the ZCP suspension is about 10mm lower than the standard M3 suspension. This ever-so-slightly aggressive wider and lower stock stance should not present any rubbing or fitment issues with aftermarket springs and spacers.
That said, I wouldn't run aftermarket springs and spacers on a ZCP car. If you want to mess with the suspension, then why did you spring (no pun intended) for the Competition Package? Another thing to consider is that the ZCP shocks are different from the non-ZCP shocks, and all currently available aftermarket springs were developed with the standard shocks' rebound rates in mind (and even that's debatable), not the ZCP shocks' rates. Hope this helps.

I've put Vreds in 255/35 and 275/35 sizes and have put 12mm spacer up front and 10 and 5mm spacers in the rear. The only rubbing I had was with the 10mm spacer in the rear when the car was full of people. It was very minor - no scuff on the tires or wheel wells.
The rubbing obviously depends on what tire you use. The AD08's run quite large and the Vreds seem to be average in terms of width. Anyway, I'd say with the stock tires, you could run a 12mm to 15mm up front and up to a 10mm in the rear (stock tires are shorter and more narrow than my setup) with no rubbing. Thx, BC |

Interesting. I know of at least one E92 with Dinan Stage I suspension (same 10mm drop as ZCP) that is also running 255/35s on RG63s (same 9 inch width as ZCP 359Ms up front) without rubbing. That makes the offset difference between his setup and yours about -2mm. You're right -- not much room for error at all.

Yeah, you're right. The 2.7mm difference between the two may seem negligible, but as someone else said, there's apparently not much room for error.

Read somewhere on here that the recommended setup for spacers on a M3 ZCP was 12mm front and 5mm rear to prevent rubbing. Might be able to go up to 10mm rear but might experience some rubbing. I've seen some pics of a ZCP with 12mm/5mm and it looks pretty nice.

That's a whopping 16mm increase in offset on the front wheels over a non-ZCP M3 with 220s. Link to this info please?

I tried the 10mm on the rear and had some rubbing but it was very minor. I'm running a 275/35/19 tire so it's a little taller and wider than stock so a 10mm in the rear would probably be ok. BC
