My kitten died last week. Get a new one or go for a crocodile?

... obviously completely different cars. Buy whichever one captures your desire right now. Life's short. Be happy and

I would choose the m3 over any X6 variant.

Don't like anything about the X6, but that's my opinion.

Is this seriously a tough decision? Especially when the particular X6 under consideration isn't the X6 M or even the 50i but rather the 35i?? M3!!!

What made you choose the M3 coupe the first time? Think of it this way...you had an extended test drive. If you don't want it after that long term test experience, go ahead and change it up.

Maybe it is a blessing for you to: A> not have sustained injury (hopefully) B> have your car totaled and have the ability to get what you really want.

Perhaps the M3 just isn't for you.

Thanks for the posts and advice I came from a 335i and loved it, went to an M3 and loved it even more. Accidents happen and, well, I just have time on my side to think about what to do next. I've always liked the X6 and the whole SAV thing. I agree with some of you, it does look odd from some angles, but to me it does have its charm. And yes, it is a totally different vehicle from the M3.

I had an Jet Black M with red extended and 6MT. If I got one now, I'd like to get what is currently available so I don't have to wait for it to be built. My current choice that I am eyeing is a Jet Black/Black leather and DCT. It hink this time around the DCT experience might be fun no? Thoughts? Anyone go from 6MT to DCT?

.....to add to my post above - I will posting details of the accident once the insurance/adjusters situation blows over. I actually had the wherewithal to take pics of my car right after the crash.....

wow bummer to hear about your car

I will say that I drove a x6 for a week or so and loved that car. Very fun to drive and handled nice

I also got to track the x6M and x5M at the performance center and those cars were just insane. you should get the x6M

when I impacted - all the airbags went off and it kinda felt like i was surrounded by pillows. I walked away without a single scratch. 45mph to a full stop. BMW engineering = amazing. Other people weren't injured either.

Get an Individual color Lime Green X6M and get a custom license plate that says "HULK". I have always thought about this. The X6M is just such a radical thing.

The 3.5.....no freakin' way.

Actually, don't do the HULK thing. It's my idea and may actually do it when I replace my Cayenne.
