You're famous round here. Your thread is being cross-referenced from other forums. So could you describe how the Auto-mode behaves? I mean how quick to downshift and compared to a TQ-converter auto is the DCT much, some better or same? etc.. For example you are on the HW and in auto-mode and you punch the gas some what's the delay to downshift and is it smooth etc.. |

Sure I will snap some pics but until then, go to bmwusa.com and build an m3 with extended leather...really works pretty good. When configuring, there are 2 icons under the interior pic to change your view. IMHO, having extended leather (any color) fulfills the interior of the M3. |

Thank you for the review. The "delay" irks me but you may have a lower tolerance than I do. I test drove the 6mt, but would prefer the DCT. Hopefully, the dealer will have a demo DCT unit available soon.

No I bought it up in military dealer in Wurzburg. The guy I purchased our JCW/MCS from moved up there so I went through him. Almost beyond dropped now. Total time in the Air Force will be right at 23 years, 8 months. I fly out 3 May. I have 1 plan when I get back ... FIND A JOB!!!! I have some interviews coming up so the outcome will depend on where I end up. Right now I am looking at San Antonio, Dallas/Ft Worth, the upper Florida (Tampa, Orlando, Melbourne) area. When I find out where I get to hang my hat up, I will let ya know. Thanks for asking |

Before you purchase it, I would recommend stopping by your BMW dealer with some of your music and pop it in an M3 and play your heart out. Sorry I couldn't give you a professional and great write up. I am glad I got it though... |

So I stopped by my local BMW dealership here in Calw to setup the 1200 mile inspection for 11 April due to my upcoming driving calculations. And yes they have oil filters... Anyway, the service manager comes out to get my VIN and notices M-DKG. He was completely stunned seeing it. Then the mechanics came out to look at it ... having a sh!t @ass grin on their face like I can't wait to get my hands on it. Anyway, its booked and now waiting to be opened up. I'm sitting at 635 miles right now ... not bad average 100+ miles/day since I picked it up.
