Just ordered a set of P40s: Hows the Set-up look?
I just want to make sure I did this right, so all comments are welcome.
Front: 19x9 255/35 +28 PS2 Rear: 19x10.5 305/30 +28 PS2 Will I get rubbing if I go with a coilover kit? |

I went with 255/35/19 and 295/30/19. It should be done in about a week. I am getting excited. I don't know the off-sets, but it is HRE's recommended fitments, whatever those are. I went with Brushed Aluminum w/ the clear coat. I plan on keeping the HRE center caps as well
I am wrapping them in Pirelli P Zero "Hero" tires

I definately will.
Coilovers definately not, the M3 suspension is good enough that I can't justify spending $2500, now the 335I I did do coilovers, but M3 stock suspension is about 90% to 95% of what the KWV2s are. Springs, I am not sure yet. I don't want to sacrifice ride or handling for looks. I am going from 245/40/18 265/40/18 to 255/35/19 295/30/19 will probably make the ride quality about all I would want to do.

you should go more aggressive in the rear.
you probably will not rub on the coilover kit because you can adjust your camber/stiffness and height.

I tried to get them to make them with OEM specs and they wouldn't/couldn't do it. I think that for mass producing purposes, they have their machine set-up for certain specs, and to alter that is a hassle. That is my opinion. I have had a couple of conversations w/ Matt @ HRE and feel comfortable that they know what they are doing. I have about another week to wait until mine are done and I will report when they are done. The issue you run into when going w/ aftermarket wheels, are looks VS performance. The goal especially when spending thousands of dollars is to increase both, and I hoping that is what I get with the HRE's.

I just inquired about 9.5 fronts for the HRE. Apparently they aren't available yet in the forged wheel.
Does anyone have a spacer recommendation for the front. The rears should look fine (changed to a 295/30) |
