Clearly he is talking a base model M4. The MSRP for a basic (MT, no packages/options) 2015 M4 is $66,100 on the BMWUSA website. I doubt many dealers are discounting much at this point but I'm sure some folks like Steve Thomas are giving some discounts. Not $500 over invoice but some discounts... Mid-$60's is not unbelievable.

This 2013 M3 probably had a MSRP for around the mid 70s so 60k isn't really that bad for a 1 year old car depending on mileage and what not. Also, people like myself don't mind paying a little more to get one of the last V8 M3s since the M4 doesn't really interest me right now. All personal preference.

Not to take this thread offtrack but you can go low. 60's with an European delivery. You don't buy these cars looking at ad's. You have to negotiate with the right dealer and work your way up from the euro delivery invoice. A base euro delivery invoice starts at 53.6k.
